Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler Jeep and RAM 1500 Named Best Vehicles in Class

The Car Connection – one of the internet’s leading car research sites – has announced its findings in the category of ‘Best Vehicle to Buy for 2020’. The Chrysler Pacifica has been named the Best Minivan, the Jeep Grand Cherokee the Best SUV and the RAM 1500 the Best Pickup Truck.

The Pacifica has now won over 125 awards, and has won the Best Minivan award every year since 2016. The Cherokee and the RAM 1500 picked up ‘best in class’ awards for the first time. The panel of judges at Car Connection test drive over 100 vehicles before they decide which ones are the ones worthy of an award.

RAM 1500 Announced as Cars.com’s Luxury Car of the Year for 2020

The leading automobile website site Cars.com has announced that it considers the RAM 1500 to be the best luxury car to buy for 2020. This is the first time in history that a truck has been awarded this particular accolade.

“This award validates RAM’s unrelenting efforts to deliver more comfort, refinement and value to our customers,” said the head of RAM Brand, Reid Bigland, upon being informed of this news.

Jeep Gladiator Named North American Truck of the Year for 2020

More accolades for Jeep have arrived in the form of the award as ‘North American Truck of the Year’. The brand-new Jeep Gladiator, which has been named as the ‘most capable midsize truck ever’, has been awarded the accolade of ‘2020 North American Truck of the Year’ by an exclusive panel of industry experts.

“This honor is a testament to our customers who demand the very best and the Gladiator delivers with all of the 4x4 capability and versatility expected of a Jeep vehicle,” said Head of Jeep, FCA North America, Jim Morrison.

RAM Brand Announced Record Sales for 2019

The RAM Dodge brand has been around for a long time – since 2009 in fact – and in 2019 attained record sales with over 700,000 vehicles sold. Not only is this a record year for the Dodge RAM brand, it also marks an 18 percent increase in sales in comparison to previous years.

"These results underscore two significant decisions we have made when it comes to RAM – invest in technology and adopt a three-truck strategy," said Head of RAM’s United States sales, Reid Bigland. "It has taken some hard work, but it has been a true reward to see how RAM has evolved over the past 10 years."
